Rugby in the Czech Republic is at the moment a relatively minor sport, but is growing slowly as more teams are forming. And, as match attendances increase so does the formation of new teams.

The increasing popularity of Czech rugby is proven by the increase in visits made by touring teams, with well-known names such as one of the best world clubs - Australian NSW WARATAHS .

The National side has improved greatly over the past few seasons due to the amount of young people taking up the game. The Czech Republic during 2004 and 2005 will play in the 'A' group of FIRA European Championship, competing with teams such as Ukraine, Russia, Georgia and Romania.

During 2005, ESTEC in cooperation with the Czech Rugby Union organised the accommodation of National team from Romania, as well as stays of Czech National team in Russia. In May 2005 ESTEC co-organised European Championship women Rugby VII, group B and in October in Prague stay of NSW WARATAHS.

ESTEC is the OFFICIAL INCOMING AGENT of the CZECH RUGBY UNION and consequently offers a full range of tournaments throughout the country. All the tournaments are on the official list of the Czech Rugby Union. These Tournaments are really well organised and enjoyable. Many past participants have already decided to return in 2006, after experiencing the hospitality of these superb tournaments.

RUGBY - FRIENDLY GAMES:
Friendly games of all standards (also women) and ages are available almost on any requested dates.

ARRANGEMENT FEE: FROM 350,- EUR PER TEAM OR 20,- EUR PER PERSON PER 1 GAME
(Depending on the standard and date, some special games for free!)
ARRANGEMENT FEE INCLUDES 3rd HALF REFRESHMENT (dinner and drinks) !!!
