Český Krumlov incl. Chateau
A magnificent medieval town located in Southern Bohemia near the Šumava Mountains surrounding one of the most remarkable chateaus in the Czech Republic. The Chateau is the town's landmark and after Prague Castle it is the biggest of its kind in Bohemia. The Chateau stands on a rock overlooking the Vltava River. Český Krumlov was originally a castle, which was later converted into a large Renaissance chateau and later reconstructed, again in the Baroque style. The whole town is an exceptionally valuable, protected historical town.
