Poděbrady + Glassworks Factory

Poděbrady is a spa town on Elbe River 50 km far from Prague. This spa town, where cardiovascular diseases are treated with the local waters, was founded in 1908. The spa area includes colonnades, accommodation for patients, hospitals, and a spa park with 13 mineral springs. Visitors can also order massage there.

The town also has a long tradition in glass manufacturing. Tourists can visit the Bohemia Glassworks factory, watch the production of the world famous Bohemian lead crystal glasses and also buy crystal glass souvenirs in the factory shop.
